Payment Methods Support by Domain Market Pro

More ways to get paid leads to more trust, confidence, and domain name sales.

Domain Market Pro now offers more options to receive payments for domains sold. These options can be used to offer buyers choices at checkout time to pay with a payment method that they feel most comfortable using or find most convenient. This is yet another feature of DMP that helps to build trust and confidence in your domain shop, and allows you to get more sales. In addition, all currencies supported by PayPal are available plus others on request.

Supported Payment Methods

PayPal

PayPal is one of the Web’s largest electronic money transfer and payment processing companies. DMP supports PayPal for 2 types of transactions: payment in full for domains with fixed prices, and deposits for large payments where the balance is paid via escrow.

Wire_Transfer

Wire transfer is the ideal method of getting paid because the money is transferred directly to the seller’s bank account from the buyer’s bank account bypassing any payment processor and avoiding any related fees.

Escrow_com

Escrow.com is one of the first and best-known online escrow services providers founded in 1999. The domain name is instantly recognizable and service is well known. The company changed hands in 2015 when it was purchased by the CEO of Freelancer.com.

Payoneer

Payoneer is a newer escrow services provider led by the former owners of Escrow.com and is quickly becoming the escrow service of choice for domain sales. As a Payoneer account holder you can receive funds into your bank account, e-wallet, or a reloadable prepaid credit card (MasterCard).

Escrow_Domains

Escrow Domains (Escrow.Domains and EscrowDomains.com) is the most recent escrow service. It was started by a legal firm with deep roots in the domain name community.  Having a legal firm backing escrow transactions can build trust and confidence in the minds of potential buyers.

Other Options

If, for some reason, you do not want to use any of the above payment methods you have the option to turn off these payment methods. In this case, you will receive purchase details and handle the transaction outside the platform using a preferred payment method.

You are also able to override the default function of the Buy Now button to link it to a third-party payment page such as one of the marketplaces that offers an escrow service.
