You can export all of the domain data as a CSV file, edit it in your favorite spreadsheet software, then import back into DMP and the domains will automatically update based on the edited fields in the file.
What is CSV? It is the most common file format for exporting and importing data for spreadsheets and databases. The file can be opened for editing in any spreadsheet software currently in use.
What are the benefits of exporting and importing CSV file? You can export your entire domain inventory to a spreadsheet which you can then send as a single file to potential buyers. You can edit your domains offline and then import the CSV file back into DMP for fast updating.
Can you add new domain listings using a spreadsheet? Yes, you can. Any domains that already exist in the platform will be updated based on the changes you make in the spreadsheet. But if any new domain rows are encountered, these will be created as new listings when you import the CSV file.
How to export and import domains:
- Select Export/Import from under Tools.
- Select the fields you want to export or import.
- Follow the instructions provided.
When you export domains, a new window will open to allow you to continue working on your site while the export generates.
Imports take much less time and occur within the interface.
To import, the file must be .csv formatted and contain the same fields that you select in the list and in the same order.
